Hi, I'm John from Brighton. I've lost 38kg with Mounjaro and want to share my journey to help others. I felt a little self-conscious starting this journey, so I wanted to share my experience and learn from others too. Only this month, July, have I had the courage to post photos of myself here and on Reddit.
I've found many supportive souls out here, making for a healthier, more supportive community all around! People need to see how much this treatment can (REALLY!) help those of us with food and weight-loss problems.
Deciding to start this journey is one of the best things I've ever done - be damned the expense. I've had really bad back problems and still suffer from chronic pain, but just being able to move around so much more easily is almost indescribable.
I can (and will) share any personal codes/discount codes if/when I have any. I, like way too many of us, have to shop around or the treatment becomes unaffordable. I will write up any experiences I have of moving pharmacies, as I know this is of interest to people.
My Weight Loss Progress
From 120kg to 88.2kg - My doctor was warning me about diabetes and wanted me to start statins. I knew I had to do something.
I tried to get Mounjaro on the NHS but it was nearly impossible. Eventually went private and it's been life-changing.
