I reached out to Numan about the price increase and how it will affect my treatment. I also enquired about spacing doses say every 2 weeks - This is their response:

"We understand how disappointing Eli Lilly’s decision to increase the price of Mounjaro may be and the effects it will have on Numan patients. The price change will not take effect until September, your next delivery will be the initial price of £229 for the 10mg pen.

We’re here to support you in your weight loss journey. You might want to look into switching to Wegovy as an alternative, which will not be affected by these price changes and is still an effective weight loss treatment.
Wegovy has proven benefits for heart health in people with obesity and existing heart disease.

If you’re interested, you can request to change your medication here.

We do not recommend spacing out the doses to every 2 weeks. Once a pen has been opened, it expires after 30 days, there is a risk that you have been injecting expired medication."

So it seems they will increase prices on the 1st - I'm still waiting to hear exactly what will happen, and will update as I hear anything. I have no idea what will happen with their referral program giving you £100, but it is still currently running.

What has your provider said? What are you going to do? Will you switch to Wegovy? I'd genuinely love to hear! I'd like to stay in Mounjaro if I can, but unless i can find a better deal, I may have to switch, or take a break/end my treatment early.

"Your prices will not be changing until we review again in October and we will let you know beforehand if this will impact your subscription. I can guarantee that your next two deliveries in August and September will be the same price of £229 for the 10mg pen as long as you dose is not changed."
